A young healthly moose
This moose was grazing and drinking at Hidden Lake. A great place to see a moose cooling down from the summer heat.

A friendly duck
One of my first memories of Isle Royale was feeding the ducks crackers by hand when I was a little lad.
A fox in grass
Make sure your food is sealed or this sly guy will have the best of it.
A lonely loon
A loon's call is one-of-a-kind.

Peter cottontail
A brave bunny stands tall in front of my path.
A watchful eye
A family of screech owls would talk among themselves as the sun disappeared from sight.
2 for 1
Can you find the second moose hiding in the picture?
A piggyback ride
A mother moose sometimes gives birth on a small island to avoid the wolves that roam the main island. The mother and calf swims back to the main island when is calf strong enough. The Rock Harbor in the back ground.

Beaver fever
This guy gave me a scare when he came behind me and slapped his tail against the surface of the water when I was fishing to close to his home.

A sunset silhouette
This has to be the prettiest time of the day
