A Nice Catch
This is on the main dock on Mott Island. This Lake Trout was 14 pounds. The fish that won the Isle Royale employee summer fishing contest was 27 pounds.
Over looking Sumner Lake
A great place to camp and relax on the weekend.
A good fish to keep
This is a friend of mine, Matt, a trail crew worker. He caught a great looking fish for a perfect meal.

A old copper mine
My favorite past time is to research the library for old historical sites and then finding them on the island.
Kayak building
A friend showed me how to build my own kayak. This is a picture of me working and learning how to build my own.
A Kayak skeleton
I did not have any plans when I built the frame. I tried to make it long and thin for speed. This photo was shot in the carpenter's workshop where I work on the island.
James and John helping me out
Two of my friends from Eagle River came out to visit the island. They helped me put on the Kayak's skin on there last day of their trip.

My mom relaxing in my boat
This boat is my main source of transportation. It gets me where I want to go.
